Overview
Deckable (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Deckable is a desktop application—your music projects, samples, and plugin data are stored locally on your computer and never uploaded to our servers.
Information We Collect
Email Address
When you download the trial or purchase a license, we collect your email address to send transactional emails (purchase confirmation, license key delivery) and product updates.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers. See Stripe’s privacy policy for details.
Crash Reports (Opt-In)
Deckable includes optional crash reporting powered by Sentry. This feature is disabled by default and can be enabled in Settings → Privacy. When enabled, anonymous error reports are sent to help us diagnose and fix bugs. These reports include stack traces with file paths anonymized (usernames replaced with “[user]”), app version, and operating system. No project names, file contents, license keys, or personally identifiable information is included. You can disable crash reporting at any time.
Usage Data
Deckable is local-first. We do not collect analytics or usage data from the desktop application by default. Your project files, samples, plugins, and workflow data stay on your machine.

Analytics cookies are only set after you accept cookies via the consent banner. You can change your preferences at any time using the “Manage preferences” link in the footer.
How We Use Your Information
- Deliver your license key and purchase confirmation

- Respond to support requests
- Improve our website and marketing (standard web analytics only, not desktop app usage)
Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our website. These tools use cookies to collect anonymous usage data. You can accept or decline analytics cookies when you first visit our site. Declining cookies does not affect your ability to use or download Deckable. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your Rights
You can request deletion of your email from our mailing list at any time by contacting support@deckable.io.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the “Manage preferences” link in the footer, which will reopen the consent banner and let you update your choice. Alternatively, you can clear your browser cookies for deckable.io and revisit the site.
